My Story

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Dietetics from Leeds Becket University in 2011 and a PGCert in Advanced Dietetic Practice from the University of Nottingham in 2014 I have worked across many specialist areas of dietetics over the last 10 years within the NHS including acute wards, outpatient services and within the community in people's homes. I am currently based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire and love living so close to the Yorkshire Moors. Trained by Kings College London on the Low FODMAP diet and I also have significant professional and personal interest in undernutrition (malnutrition) and digestive issues.

The idea for Dietitian in Your Pocket was born from the notion that anyone should be able to have access to reliable, evidence based nutrition and dietetic advice when and wherever they need to from any device, in your pocket.

Group work, writing and digital dietetics

Digitalisation of healthcare is now enabling us to reach more people to provide reliable, evidence based advice.

With vast experience creating and delivering group education sessions, webinars and e-learning modules, as well as writing for electronic and print peer-reviewed publications I am also able and available for consultancy based work.
